Jeremiah's Joyous Jubilee Juice
3rd-level transmutation
You transform up to 10 gallons of water into a fine wine, provided that the water is within range and you can see it. The spell fails if any other form of alcohol is available within a 1-mile radius. This transformation is only possible if the water is located at a wedding celebration and if you, the caster, are of lawful good alignment, symbolizing the purity of intent and the sanctity of the matrimonial union.
The quality of the wine is equivalent to a rare vintage, suitable for a royal wedding feast. However, the wine's magical properties fade after 24 hours, returning it to water if any remains unconsumed.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the amount of water you can transform increases by 10 gallons for each slot level above 3rd.
Lore:
Jeremiah's Joyous Jubilee Juice is a spell that harkens back to the legend of a devout paladin named Jeremiah the Just. As the tale goes, Jeremiah was attending the wedding of a noble couple when disaster struck—the celebration ran out of wine, threatening to cast a pall over the joyous occasion. Given the wedding's remote location, no additional alcohol was available, and the mood began to sour.
Witnessing the couple's distress, Jeremiah, a man of deep faith and unwavering morals, called upon his deity in a moment of earnest prayer. Moved by Jeremiah's plea and the innocence of the occasion, the deity granted a one-time miracle, allowing Jeremiah to convert the ceremonial basins of water into a sumptuous wine that delighted all the guests.
Word of this miracle spread, and soon, clerics and paladins sought to replicate Jeremiah's act. After much devotion and study, a spell was crafted that could mimic the miracle to some extent. This spell was named in honor of Jeremiah's selfless act, and it is said that every time the spell is successfully cast, it is a testament to Jeremiah's pure heart and the approval of the divine. It serves as a reminder that true power often lies in acts of kindness and the celebration of life's most cherished moments.
