Shapechanger. The Chaorix can use its action to polymorph into a humanoid it has seen, or back into its true form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Chaos Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) slashing damage plus 4 (1d8) random type damage (roll 1d8 to determine the type: 1 - fire, 2 - cold, 3 - acid, 4 - lightning, 5 - thunder, 6 - poison, 7 - psychic, 8 - radiant).
Confounding Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) psychic damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be confused (as per the Confusion spell) for 1 minute.
