Contract of Deception. The Falspeak can offer a contract that seems to fulfill a mortal's deepest wishes, but the contract is laced with deceptions and hidden clauses that ensnare the signer's soul.
Shapechanger. The Falspeak can use its action to polymorph into any humanoid it has seen, or back into its true form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Multiattack. The Falspeak makes two attacks with its duplicity blade.
Duplicity Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) slashing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 19 Wisdom saving throw or be affected by the Confusion spell until the end of the Falspeak's next turn.
Weave of Lies (Recharge 5-6). The Falspeak targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 19 Charisma saving throw or believe a single lie told by the Falspeak for 24 hours. This lie can't be directly harmful, but it can lead the target to take actions that might be against its interests.

Its innate spellcasting focuses on illusions and misdirection, aiding in its role as a deceiver. The Weave of Lies ability underscores its ability to manipulate reality with falsehoods, while its shapechanging ability aids in its deceptive practices. The Contract of Deception ability highlights its role in tricking mortals into damning agreements with hidden pitfalls.
