Playing in Dort
Playing in Dort
Dort is a world, not a rulebook. Everything on this site (the lands, peoples, gods, history, and creatures) is written to work with whatever game you play at your table: Exodus NDS, Genesys, 5e, Pathfinder, GURPS, or your own system.
Dort is one world within the Ix universe. Game rules for Dort are published for Exodus NDS; for any other system, this site gives you the material you need to build characters and run the world yourself.
Exodus NDS
The full Exodus NDS rules for Dort live on the Ix universe site, ix.exodusnds.com.

Other Systems
There are no official Dort conversions for other systems. The pages on this site are written so you can make your own:
- Peoples. Each race page covers appearance, size, lifespan, senses, culture, lineages, and naming. Use those to pick or adapt the closest race your system offers. The table under Races & Lands in Welcome to Dort shows how common each people is in each land, and the notes beneath it describe how each is received.
- Gods. Journal of the Gods lists every deity with domains, virtues, vices, followers, taboos, obligations, and holy symbol. That is enough to build a cleric, paladin, or devotee in any system.
- Creatures. Most entries in Quillian's Guide to Creatures carry 5e stat blocks; the descriptions, habitats, and behaviour translate to any game. Exodus NDS stats are in the Adversary Catalog.
- The world. Maps, the calendar, weather, and history are system-free. Start with Welcome to Dort and History of Dort.
- At the table. The Festival Calendar, Languages of Dort, Names by Culture, and the Pronunciation Guide work in any system.
If you build a conversion you want to share, DORT README & LEGAL explains how Dort treats canon and fan-made material, and how to submit work for consideration.
